FAQ
Do you shoot strictly on Super 8?
Yes. I shoot exclusively on Super 8 because I believe in the timeless, nostalgic quality that only real film can capture. The texture, grain, and imperfections of Super 8 create a dreamy, cinematic feeling that digital simply can’t replicate. It allows me to preserve your wedding day in an authentic and artful way that feels both intimate and enduring.
DOES SUPER 8 HAVE AUDIO?
No, Super 8 is a soundless film. Super 8 film that allowed sound was discontinued in the 90's. Your wedding film will be edited with music that matches your day & love beautifully.
How will our Super 8 film be delivered?
Your finished film will be delivered through a private Vimeo link. This makes it easy to watch, download, and share with loved ones right away, while also ensuring your memories are safely stored online.
How do you make sure our film is safe?
This is a great and commonly asked question! As Super 8 is an older medium, I take extra care to protect your memories. I make sure to bring multiple cameras and back up rolls of film to ensure everything is captured. Once your film is developed and scanned, it’s safely backed up to Dropbox in addition to your delivery link, so you’ll always have a secure copy of your wedding day.
Do you provide raw footage?
No, I don’t provide raw footage. Super 8 film is a delicate, artistic medium, and part of its beauty lies in the way it’s thoughtfully edited and crafted into a final story. Raw footage is considered unfinished, and does not reflect the true quality of my work as an artist & filmmaker.
